The Importance of Perceiving the Rainbow

A rainbow requires three things to exist: 1) a source of light, 2) a materia to refract the light, and 3) an observer. All three of these factors have to be in perfect alignment with each other. When the observer is not situated at the proper angle between source and refracting materia, then the light remains un-refracted and no rainbow is perceived.

With TMO, the source of light is the Kethric Brilliance; the substance which refracts the light is the mental, astral and physical materia; and the observer is the practitioner's own conscious awareness.

The Adonai Light is very much like a strike of physical lightning. To the naked eye, it appears that lightning descends from the sky, but what's really occurring is that an atmospheric charge elicits a rise of electromagnetism from the earth which then interacts with the atmospheric charge. The flash of light is caused by this interaction between the charges inherent to 'below' and 'above'.

Likewise, the Adonai Light does not come into existence until the charge of consciousness descends from Kether and is embedded in Malkuth. Only then does a charge arise from Malkuth which can interact with the descending Kethric Brilliance and thus generate the Adonai Light. Once the Adonai Light erupts, the mental, astral and physical materia refract its Brilliance into the infinite continuum of the rainbow.

Contrary to popular conception, a rainbow is not composed of distinct, separate colors. It is not composed of 7 colors or 27 colors or even 27 billion colors. It is a single body of light with an *infinite number* of gradations.

A physical analogy to this would be the perception of a triple-rainbow which is a rare event in anyone's life. When you observe a triple-rainbow (or even a double-rainbow, for that matter), you can see that a rainbow is really an infinite continuum, almost a closed loop. Between each stacked rainbow, there is a gap which, to the normal physical eyesight appears empty or clear. This is the area of the refracted spectrum in which ultraviolet and infrared graduate into each other. However, a single rainbow also encompasses the infrared and ultraviolet ranges of the spectra -- it is, in effect, an infinite, closed continuum or loop.

While the rainbow is infinite, we tend to perceive in finite bits. Our minds automatically divide the rainbow into specific, distinct colors instead of perceiving it as an infinite, unbroken continuum. This is the power we wield over the Rainbow-Hued Light with our consciousness -- the ability to condense the infinite gradations into a single grade of light or into any finite number of grades.

When this is an unconscious process, the specific colors we ultimately perceive within that infinite continuum are reflective of our subconscious mind. But when we make it a *conscious* process, the specific grades of color take on a powerful charge and reflect specific creative qualities found within the Kethric Brilliance, instead of the relatively weak and diffuse qualities of the individual's subconscious.

With TMO and the Rainbow-Hued Adonai Light, the rainbow is manifest *at each of the three levels* and creates an infinite number of gradations within each of the three types of materia (mental, astral and physical). Thus the Adonai Light consists of the mental spectra, the astral spectra and the visible and invisible physical spectra of the Kethric Brilliance.

When the practitioner succeeds in bringing the Kethric Brilliance down into the layers of mental, astral and physical materia through the proper manipulation of their own conscious awareness, the full rainbow appears and is *perceived*. With the more advanced stages of TMO, the practitioner has the opportunity to *consciously* condense the Adonai Light into any specific grade of the mental, astral and/or physical spectrum they might wish or be able to conceive of. But in order to effectively do this, one must first be able to perceive the rainbow in its infinite state as an unbroken continuum stretching from Kether to Malkuth and refracted by the three types of materia (mental, astral and physical).

The refraction of the Kethric Brilliance into the full rainbow is what gives substance to the Kethric Brilliance and renders it useable at the three levels. *Perceiving* the rainbow at the three levels is what gives the observer the ability to make specific and practical use of the refracted Kethric Brilliance.

Since the key to making practical use of the Adonai Light -- especially at the astral and physical levels -- is the *perception* of the rainbow, I have repeatedly emphasized the fact that it is the *Rainbow-Hued* Adonai Light one must *visualize* in the training Lessons. By training with this *visualization* of the rainbow, one is lead to its ultimate *perception*. And when that *perception* is attained, whole new vistas of what is possible, vis a vis applications of the Adonai Light, open before the practitioner of TMO.

Granted, many wonderful things can be accomplished with the Adonai Light when the practitioner *perceives* it only as a White Brilliance. Nonetheless, I urge you all to also continuously work towards the *perception* of the Rainbow-Hued Light which presents the infinitely *refracted* Brilliance for one's practical usage.
